Can you believe it’s almost Christmas? The holidays always start early for me because as a photographer I want to capture all those sweet moments everyone puts on their Christmas cards. Turning The Cottage into a cozy space for Santa and all of your sweet babies to share stories, laughs, sweet moments and maybe a cookie or two will always be one of my favorite days. Year after year I love to see familiar faces as they grow. Becoming apart of your annual tradition is something I cherish and I look forward to just as much as you do!

Spending this time with Santa is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. The pure magic I get to see in your kids faces will always be so cherished. These Santa Mini’s are the perfect way to kick off your holiday season and I look forward to seeing everyone of you in the studio for some Christmas magic.

Never know what to wear? I am here to help. As a mom myself I know just how important this time with Santa is, and that includes the outfit. The Cottage backdrop this year will be flocked trees. Of course, there will also be Santa as the focal point in his bright red suit so you’ll want to choose colors that compliment his suit. Colors that compliment would be: White, cream, green, muted tans and blue tones. Patterns are great, but easy to over do… I suggest one pattern to every two solid colors.

It is also so important for parents to come prepared- dressed and ready. If you have a little one who is uneasy you may have to jump in, or even if you want a family photo with Santa, so don’t forget to plan accordingly.

Lastly, don’t forget the little details, they matter! Iron the shirt, get the new shoes, make sure you have coordinating bows. All of these special details truly elevate an outfit and make a BIG impact.
